As announced by Philipp Kewisch on the Calendar blog, Lightning 1.0 beta 2 has hit its second release candidate and will likely ship soon. The current plan is to ship the final version with Thunderbird 3.1, which itself has released two release candidates.
Thunderbird 3.1 should ship at the end of this month, somewhat dependent on Firefox 3.6.4, which continues to slip.
